Peer Review Policy Statement
All manuscripts submitted to RJAR undergo an initial evaluation by an Editorial Board Member, including a plagiarism check. Once cleared, the manuscript is forwarded to designated reviewers for detailed expert assessment through the peer review process. Reviewers or editorial members may recommend revisions, and authors are expected to modify their submissions based on this feedback. If the revisions are insufficient, the manuscript may be returned for further improvement. After receiving the final revised version, the Editor makes the publication decision. The entire process—including peer review, plagiarism screening, language editing, and technical processing—usually takes 1–2 months, although additional time may be required for multiple revision rounds.
Publication Ethics
Statement Established in 2008, RJAR (Rasayan Journal of Ayurveda Research) is a peer-reviewed, international quarterly journal covering multidisciplinary research in chemical sciences. It is indexed in SCOPUS (Elsevier) and is available both as an open-access and print journal. To maintain research integrity and uphold ethical publishing standards, RJAR follows rigorous policies on originality and transparency and expects all contributors to adhere to the ethical norms of open-access publishing.
Plagiarism Policy
RJAR maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and accepts only original, unpublished work. All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening. Submissions found to contain plagiarized content are rejected, and authors are encouraged to revise their work in line with reviewer suggestions.
Fabrication and Falsification
Manuscripts containing falsified or fabricated data will be rejected at any stage of the review or publication process.
Duplicate Submissions
Content that significantly overlaps with previously published work or is under review elsewhere is considered a duplicate submission and is not permitted.
Permission to Reproduce Published Content
If authors wish to use content already published elsewhere, they must obtain formal permission from the copyright holder or original publisher and include this permission with their submission.
Citation Policy
RJAR enforces ethical citation standards to maintain objectivity and integrity in scientific publishing. Excessive self-citation or unwarranted citation of RJAR articles is discouraged. Additionally, citation practices intended to artificially boost citation metrics, such as participation in citation cartels, are not acceptable. Breach of these guidelines may lead to rejection of the manuscript.
